Collegiate Gender Affirming Care Coalition

Who we are

We are a network of college health service providers committed to improving the health, access to care, and wellbeing of TGD students. The Coalition began in July 2021 with an inquiry by a college health director, seeking consultation on what other colleges are offering for gender affirming care in response to student demand for gender affirming services. The coalition has since become a source of mutual education and support for college centers in many stages of gender affirming care programs. It is also a space for community, networking, and consultation.

Current Projects

CGACC Initiatives

CGACC is always working on initiatives that help improve the patient experience. In 2025, we received a grant from the Trans Justice Fund which allowed us to hire and pay a transgender advisory board. Our board is comprised of transgender and gender diverse college students who help inform our trainings, practice, and ensure we maintain our focus on centering the needs and experiences of TGD college students. Below are other initiatives we are working on.
